Who am I?
Hi, I’m Anna Jones, the founder of Fetchin’ Bones and a passionate dog trainer with 4 years of experience in the dog world. My journey started with a deep love for animals, but it was working hands-on with dogs that truly sparked my passion for training.
I am CCPDT certified, ensuring my training approach is grounded in ethics, positive reinforcement, and science-based methods. I also hold a ABCDT certification from Animal Behavior College and have spent 9 months volunteering at the ASPCA, gaining valuable experience with dogs of all backgrounds.
I previously managed a doggie dayschool in Jamaica Plain for my mentor, Shelley Harrison, where I helped young pups build confidence, manners, and social skills. I now work hands-on at a dog daycare, where I continue supporting dogs through safe socialization, enrichment, and foundational training.
At home, I have two wonderful family dogs, Myrtle and Bailey, who keep me on my toes! My boyfriend and I also own a “void kitty” named Daemon. I’m always studying and expanding my knowledge to better understand dogs and help owners build strong, positive relationships with their pups.
I believe in kind, effective, and science-based training that makes learning fun for both dogs and their humans. Whether through training, walking, or structured enrichment, my goal is to help every dog thrive!
